There are no words to describe my love affair with literature.

Legend

It was pretty good. Re-read this so I would be ready to read the rest of the series.
Me and Earl and the Dying Girl

This book was just okay. Overhyped, but I don't regret reading it.

Love this series. Just the perfect amount of humor and mystery to keep me reading!

Review: The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender by: Leslye Walton

The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender - Leslye Walton

I was so excited for this book! So, I picked it up from my library app(Overdrive). I was trembling with anticipation as I read the first couple of words! The writing is intoxicating and just when I thought I had fallen in love (BOOM!). It took a turn for the worst. To my dismay, I had to put this book down. While the writing style has a poetic, dreamlike quality the story itself is terrible. The beautiful writing masked a depressing story line  that just wasn't working for me. I really wish I could have stuck it out. Out of pity I gave it one star, I felt like giving it a half a star. I made it 6 or 7 chapters into it. I'm a little ashamed that I couldn't push through it. Oh well! I'm headed off on my next literary adventure! Thanks so much for reading!

Have a fabulous day lovelies!

See you in my next post!
